QVSS Volunteers
QVSS feels that the backbone of any not-for-profit organization is its volunteers. They are, our public friends that connect agencies and the clients they serve with the rest of the community. They inspire us with their fresh ideas and creative approaches to our programs and services. Our entire Board of Directors is made up of volunteers!
Are You an Advocate? Chaperone? Driver? Coach? Cook? Gardener? Artist?
QVSS volunteers help in many capacities, including but not limited to
- Social skills
- Cultural trips
- Assisting and providing participants with new skills
- Exercising
- Assisting with mealtime preparations
- Assisting with transportation to and from programs
- Life skills and independent living support
- Cooking
- Gardening
- Advocating and promoting community awareness and much more!
