QVSS offers day support programs to enrich the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. We provide a safe environment, meaningful programs and positive relationships, which promote social inclusion and community building.
We offer a variety of programs and services that support individuals with developmental disabilities. Programs are geared towards client interests, life skill building and so much more!
The organization can trace its roots back to the 1950’s when it began as a group of dedicated parents of children with physical and developmental disabilities. Formerly known as ARC Industries and Quinte Vocational, the organization was established as a non-profit corporation in 1989. In 1993, this Belleville based organization gained charitable status within Ontario, and has since changed its name to the present, Quinte Vitality and Social Support.
We believe in the power of community and the importance of working together to achieve our goals. At QVSS, we empower individuals to make lasting connections, explore their community, and achieve their personal goals.
